Good to know

Hale Kalani is a wonderful 3-bedroom condo in the heart of Kauai’s lush North Shore. Welcome to Hale Kalani, a thoughtfully curated getaway where you can relax, recharge, and immerse yourself in the magic of the Garden Isle. As someone born and raised in Montana with a lifetime spent adventuring between the mountains and the Hawaiian Islands, I’ve created a home that reflects my love for nature, comfort, and connection. We’ve outfitted this space with all new linens, towels, eco-friendly cleaning products, and adorned it with local artwork to celebrate the spirit of Kauai. It’s a place filled with good vibes and thoughtful details. I am passionate about sustainability, supporting local businesses, and caring for this beautiful environment. My home is designed with these values in mind, and I invite my guests to join me in leaving a light footprint. After all, we have one world and one life—let’s do our part to take care of each other. Hale Kalani is located in the peaceful Mauna Kai Condos, perfectly situated between the Prince and Makai Golf Courses. From the front door, you’ll enjoy ocean and mountain views, and easy access to some of the world’s finest tropical golf and surf. The Princeville town center is an easy walk away, offering local shops, dining, and a vibrant Saturday farmers market where you can stock up on fresh island produce. A 10-minute drive brings you to Hanalei, a charming town where rainbows, sunshine, boutique shops, and fantastic dining create an unforgettable experience. Right from your doorstep, a scenic 10-minute hike down the Queen’s Path takes you past a waterfall and down to Anini Beach. Protected by Hawaii’s largest coral reef, this beach offers calm, clear waters perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing. Nearby, you’ll find countless other beaches offering surfing, snorkeling, and the breathtaking natural beauty Kauai is known for. The condo itself is a spacious 1,500 sq/ft townhome, designed with island flair and all the comforts of home. It includes two queen bedrooms, one king bedroom, and an open loft with a queen sleeper sofa—plenty of space for families or groups. Wood floors throughout give the home a clean, cool feel, while vaulted two-story ceilings with plantation-style beams create an airy, open atmosphere. Island-style louvered windows allow for excellent airflow, maximizing the cooling trade winds. The kitchen has been beautifully remodeled with granite countertops and maple cabinets and is fully equipped for everything from casual breakfasts to gourmet dinners. Local art, including Troy Carney’s interpretation of the Nā Pali Coast in the dining room, adds a personal touch that reflects the beauty of the island. Sustainability is a key feature here as well, with a solar electric system providing green energy and a solar water heater ensuring plenty of hot water while reducing environmental impact. The Mauna Kai community offers the largest condo pool in Princeville, fully renovated in 2022 and solar heated for year-round comfort. It’s large enough to swim laps or simply float and relax. The poolside gazebo includes gas and charcoal grills, a fridge, sink, and even a ping pong table—perfect for a casual gathering or private party. Whether you’re headed to Hanalei Beach Park for soft waves and wade-in swimming, planning a Nā Pali Coast hiking adventure, or exploring Secret Beach, you’re just minutes away from some of Kauai’s most iconic experiences. Down the street, the Westin Resort offers luxury spa services, fine dining, and front-row seats to the famous Bali Hai sunset—the last sunset in the United States each evening. Bali Hai’s majestic profile is the beginning of the Nā Pali cliffs and provides an unforgettable backdrop for ocean cruises, helicopter tours, and romantic moments. Hale Kalani includes high-speed Wi-Fi, cable, and Apple TV, as well as a variety of games and puzzles for unplugged fun. For outdoor dining, you’ll find a private BBQ on the lanai, surrounded by lush gardens and the soothing sounds of nature. The scents of tropical flowers fill the air, and on quiet days, you can sometimes hear the waves crashing at Anini Beach. After dark, the skies come alive with stars—perfect for stargazing from the hot tub or lanai. Whether you’re here to surf, hike, golf, snorkel, or simply relax and unwind, Hale Kalani offers the perfect home base for your Kauai adventure. I look forward to welcoming you and sharing this special place that I call home. License number540050300014

Kalani’s place was a lovely stay. Nice and spacious for our family of 4 and very close to Hanalei and other hikes and beaches. It does get a little warm upstairs during the summer and there isn’t a ton of airflow but we were here in August and we were also here during a very warm week. Other than that it was a pretty amazing time.
